The prominent Italian fashion company Gucci has approved the purchase of its high-end handbags and other luxury products using cryptocurrencies.
As per Gucci, bitcoin will be allowed as a payment source by the company. The company tweeted, “Starting later this month, customers can pay for the Gucci items with crypto at some of Gucci’s flagship stores, including Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles and Wooster Street in New York.”
Furthermore, the company added that it would authorize payments in other digital currencies such as Ethereum, dogecoin, Shiba Inu, Litecoin, and a few US dollar-pegged stable coins.
